Structural correlation to enhanced magnetodielectric properties of Pr-doped polycrystalline Gd0.55Pr0.45MnO3 at low temperatures

The effect of improved dielectric properties in the presence an applied magnetic field is discussed Pr doped polycrystalline Gd$_{0.55}$Pr$_{0.45}$MnO$_3$ complemented by structural down to 50 K and properties. Enhanced permittivity low loss represent strongly field-dependent behaviour sample. characterizations using synchrotron angle dispersive X-ray diffraction confirm orthorhombic symmetry sample with Pnma space group from 300 K. There no transition at lower temperatures up K; however Mn O octahedral distortion reduced. investigation for frequencies range 500 Hz 1 MHz was conducted temperature 8 without a 7 Tesla, which shows high constant frequency region. This confirms relaxation phenomena Gd$_{0.55}$Pr$_{0.45}$MnO$_3$. ac conductivity data increasing trend along activation energy increases higher frequencies. Temperature-dependent dc magnetization study negative 100 Oe field, due spin canting Mn-Mn lattice. High coercivity competition between ordering Gd,Pr lattice 5 are also observed study.
